Hi Ted: I too have been doing genealogy but for over 10 years. I have about 95,000 on my tree. I am researching all branches. The Pack's are not related to me in any way. They are the ancestors of my good friend from high school Bill Wear. His wife Anne and I were best of friends. Anyway they don't have a computer and asked for my assistance. I have but pay about $300 a year but may change it this year and lower the price.

My friends and I live in Washington State. Bills and his family came from West Virginia. Bill was born in Charleston, Kanawha Co., West VA. His grandfather Charles Franklin Wear married Caroline V. Pack, daughter of George W. and Sophronia Medley Pack. Bill found some notes that his mom had written and that is how I got started on this project. I am also tracing Anne's family.

I found John and Margaret Gunnoe on the 1850 Census.

I also found information about the Gunnoe's on the internet that has been helpful.

Thanks again for all your help. I just wish we could have found Geo. W. Pack's parents.

Cheers, Judy
