I really don't research this family,my GG Grandfather was a Pack so we check all out.all of this I received from a lady yrs.ago.Betsy's husband was Col.John Lowery.He was born abt.1768,married Elizabeth Shorey .When the Cherokee regiment was organized at the beginning of the Creek war,he served with Col. Gideon Morgan,who was in command.Col. Lowery was a confidential agent of Return jonathan Meigs and he was one of the leading Chiefs of the Cherokee Nation from 1800 to his death in 1817.
