Smith Pack, NC & Tn.

In my research and book "Thomas Houston Pack, his descendents and Ancestors"(Pub 1971)I was never able to prove up the father of Smith Pack born N.C.1801, however all my research, as I stated in my book, led to me believe his father was John Pack the son of Richard Pack. Recently I received information from a party who is researching a PECK family who had found a book, "Mullikins and Mullicans of N.C. by N. Spencer Mulliican that stated that Richard Pack, who family came to Rowen Co. N.C. from Montgomery Co, MD,had a son, John who married Polly Potts in 1801 and has a son names, Smith Pack. This supports my research as to the ancestory of Smith Pack but elimates my thinking that Smith and Jeremiah were brothers as Jeremiah is older than Smith. I would like to hear from anyone that might might have read this book. Please reply to e-mail address Elwood@eaze.net
