Elwood, What is the latest opinion on the family of Jeremiah (1787-1873) who married Mary "Polly" Gregory? Have you been able to find out enough information to figure out who his parents were? My mother is a great-granddaughter of Jeremiah and Polly's son Lafayette (b. 1833).
