I can't confirm that Polly Packard Rice Loveland was the daughter of Polly Packard and Stephen Rice but it is certainly possible. I have a Polly Packard born 22 Mar 1777 in Brookfield, Worcester Co., Mass., dau. of Timothy Packard (1752-8 Aug 1818) and Betty/Elizabeth Fairbanks (no dates known to me). Betty was of Western (now Warren), Worcester Co., Mass. Timothy participated 17-20 Aug 1777 in the Bennington Alarm of the Revolutionary War. He resided at various times in Brookfield, Worcester Co.; Pelham, Hampshire Co.; Brmfield and Monson, Hampden Co.; all in Mass. He was a follower of Daniel Shay in Shay's Rebellion in the winter of 1786/87. Timothy was the last to swear loyalty to the government.

I have Timothy's Packard ancestry from various sources if you wish it and some descendants.
I have a daughter of Polly Packard and Stephen Rice who would be Polly Packard Rice's sister if it is the same family. The daughter's name is Lucinda but I have no birth date. Lucinda married a Henry Kennedy and had a daughter Cornelia Kennedy. On 14 Aug 1839 Cornelia married Jason Bennett Packard of Royalton, Niagara Co., New York, and of a different Packard ancestry. These data about Cornelia were obtained in 1997 from a descendant of Cornelia's.
