Dan -

My Packard research is confined to New England, and especially to Massachusetts. All that I know of the family in Ohio is that Warren Packard, son of William Packard, came to Warren, Ohio in the 1850s, and his sons, William Doud Packard and James Ward Packard, established the Packard Electric Company there in 1890 and built their first automobile there in 1899.
