Dear Mary, only have info on Packard side, nothing for wife Nancy: parents Truman T. Packard b VT 23 May 1797 and Amanda Jagger. Truman was son of Abisha Packard b April 1761 in Bridgewater, MA and second wife Rebecca Preston. They eventually made their way to Madrid, St Lawrence County, NY. "New York Pensioners of 1835"-pension # W26813, applied for by Rebecca (St) Lawrence County, NY: Revolutionary War Pvt in the MA Continental, placed on Pension Roll 2 May 1833 age 79 Fifer, Massachusetts Line, enlisted 1777 under Capt. Benjamin Warren and Col. Ichabod Allen. Discharged at West Point in 1780, on pension roll 1818 for 3 years actual service, widow received pension 1843 in Madrid, NY. Brooks Massachusetts Continental Line. At age 16 served in the Burgoyne campaign, and was at Saratoga. Was one of the First Trustees of the First Congregational Society of Madrid at Columbia Villiage, formed 8 May 1820 (History of St Lawrence County, p 284), a society formed for secular purposes (listed as A. Packard, Sr) Abisha was son of Eleazer and wife Mercy Richards. Eleazer was son of Zaccheus and wife Mercy Alden. This Zaccheus was son of Zaccheus and Sarah Howard.
