Hi everyone...first off, I'd like to give a great big thanks to those of you who have supplied helpful information to me in the past, and extra special thanks to Alan Packard, who provided me with a lot of information. How lucky I am to see that almost all of the work has been done to trace the Packard name back to Samuel and England!
Here's my question. I am putting together a little Packard history book for my family. I want to present this to my father, brother, aunt, and cousin for Christmas. I'm looking to put together a "fun" section of famous people/celebrities who may be descendants of Samuel. So far I just have a few--the Packards of the automobile industry (of which my line descends from theirs--John Packard). I am wondering if author Vance Packard and actress Kelly Packard are related, as well as David Packard of Hewlett-Packard fame. I also realize there might be some famous folk who may have last names but are still descended from Samuel.
If anyone has any info, or can kindly point me to a resource where I could find it, I would greatly appreciate it.
