I am also looking for information on the Packards of western Maine, particularly those who lived around Minot and Hebron. My ancestor is Simon PACKARD, born in or near Minot circa 1805; married Nancy JORDAN, 1831 in Minot. Simon and Nancy moved north to Kingfield by 1834, and later lived in Freeman.

Nahum Mitchell's *History of Bridgewater, Massachusetts* names an Edward PACKARD who moved to Minot, ME. He had sons Edward, Jacob, Elnathan, and John. Mitchell also names a couple of families who moved to Hebron. I am trying to make a connection.

I too would be pleased to hear from anyone with information to share. Thank you.
