Tamala,
This was such a wonderful story, and I just now have read it. What a wonderful history on the Packard family. I am searching for my great grandmother Mary Josephine Packard's family, I do know her father and mother's names, William Porter Packard and Sarah Ann Fowler, and I know that William was born in Massachusetts, not sure about Sarah. Mary Josephine was born though in Cherry Valley, Illinois in 1850. Don't know birth dates for William and Sarah, other than a date of abt july 4 for William, not a year though. I definitely will keep this history in my files, maybe somewhere there will be a connection!

Hoping you still have your email address, would love to hear from you!
