While at the library copying some obits, I managed to copy a Death Notice for Jennie (McKissock) Packard. I am not related to this person, but thought I would post it hoping someone out there is. Lowell Sun Lowell, MA Saturday, October 23, 1926 PACKARD - Mrs. Jennie (McKissock) Packard died htis morning at the Shaw Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph Packard who served through the entire Civil War. She came here from Glasgow, Scotland, in 1851 with her mother, at the age of 5 years. She leaves one brother, William B.F. McKissock of Lowell; five nieces, Miss Gertrude A. and Miss Jennie McKissock, both of Lowell; Mrs. Annie L. Rushworth of Somerville; Mrs. George Smith and Mrs. Rowena Lombard, also of Lowell; one nephew, Robert M. McKissock of lowell; also five grand nieces and three grand nephewss. She was a member of the Fifth Sreet Baptist Church and a charter member of Past Noble Grand of the Morning Star Lodge of Millbury, Mass. The body was removed to the Funeral chapel, 116 Appleton street, by Undertaker John A. Weinbeck Son. Notify Administrator about this message?
