James A. HAWTHORNE died 19 Mar.1928 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Claude Case, age 84 years. He was a Civil War vet and the son of James and Mary Ferguson Hawthorne. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude (Packard) Hawthorne.
James Hawthorne is my 2nd great grandfather
