The strength of our grandparents

Hello, cousins -

I've been working on tracing my/our genealogy for over a year, and I'm amazed at what I've found - I'm amazed at the profound strength our grandparents exhibited in leaving home, and coming to a new world, a wilderness, and starting from scratch. It's also humbling - very humbling. If you, too, are impressed with the strength, faith, integrity and committment of our grandparents, then I invite you to visit my site - I've been writing poetry in honor of those who came before us. It's The Great American Story, and The Wishing Tree was written specifically for Mary Packard and her son, Samuel.

God bless you,
Paulette Packard Johnson
