Hello Gale,

I am;
Jeannine E.(Packard) Shuster
7062 Cinnamon Drive
Sparks, Nevada 89436
775-626-3428
rgsjesshuster@charter.net

My father was Maynard Wayne Packard of Illinois (Dead).

My mother is Jemina (Williams) Packard soon to be 92 and still lives a busy and productive life in Rock Falls, IL in the area my 2 sisters, my brother and I grew up. My father, left the family when I was a youngster and I only saw him once again when I was a teenager.

My Grandfather was Raymond(?)Packard of Illinois, married twice, 1st to Annabelle King (2 children) she died, and then married 2nd wife Margaret Van Dusen (5 children). I know none of these people so closely related.

We had no contact with the Packard family for many years.
Through my husband, Richard. G. Shuster and his genealogy searches he got me in touch with some of the Packards a few years ago. Among those communicated with, I was in contact with Alan D. Packard in Olathe, KS before he moved to a nursing home facility and subsequently passed away.

Alan put me in touch with some relatives in Rockford, Il area and was to send some further information on my Packards. Unfortunately we lost touch and he is, as you know, deceased.

We have had some wonderful visits with those Packard decendents we have met as a result of Alan D. Packard's introduction, to the Johnson, Roesenke, & Diamond families, related to the Packards of Northern Illinois. What we have not been able to do is make contact with someone other than Alan D. Packard, who has / had done and recorded extensive histories.

Do you have or know who does have the extensive archive or genealogical record of the Packard famly and familiers that sprung forth after Samuel (S) Packard who arrived on the ship Diligent in 1683, settling in Bridgewater, MA

Your help or the help of any others you might recommend is gratefully appreciated.

Warmest regards

Jeannine (Packard) Shuster
