Mary Packenham was my great grandmother. I believe she grew up near St. Croix County, Wiscomsin. She married William Adam and they had a family. My grandmother, Jane Adam Defenbach was born there in 1886. Her mother, Mary, died when my grandmother was a girl, She was then raised by her Packenham gradnparents who I think lived in st. paul, Minn., and were well off -- or so the story goes.
I'm looking for any help I can get
