Tim,

You don't mention any time period for the marriage of John and Fanny. I have an Oliver Proudlock and Frances Packenham married in Quebec in 1853. The family moved to Wisconsin in the late 1860's. One of their sons was John born about 1861. Is it possible that your John is my John.
