I am the grandson of Samuel Packingham, from Holton, Michigan. Sam was born around 1900 and died around 1940, in a motorcycle accident in Holton, Michigan. He married "Ethyl", who was a homeless orphan and who has no family tree to speak of. Ethyl had 2 daughters, and 2 sons. We do not know who Sams parents were. Could he be the grandson of your sam packingham. We believe he was from the New England area.
