That may be an ancestor of the John Thomas Packer I'm looking for. He's mentioned in John Confair's will of 1840 as married to John's daughter, Sarah. I think she was born in 1815 so a birthdate of 1860 could make it their grandchild since 45 years of age was old to have a child in those days. John and Sarah are in Centre County, PA, in 1840, probably around the small town of Howard. But I think the later went to Ohio. Does any of this fit in with what you have? Who were your John's parents, etc?
