I can help you with this line. George R. Packett was son of John Scrimger Packett (1813-1859) and Mary Frances Reynolds (c1813-????), his second wife. James was son of Henry Packett (1782-1843) who was son of William Packett (1736?-1792), all of Richmond Co., Va. George R. is buried in Campbell Memorial Pres. Church cemetery, Lancaster Co., Va., and had a brother James Emmitt Packett (1857-c1902). I am going out of town for a few days and will be back next week. Can give you more if you are interested.
