Thank you for your reply. Georgiana Packham is the great grandmother of my wife. She married a William Goodger and lived in West Ashling, West Sussex. I have looked at the family search site but didn't get as much info as you. I did find the names and birth of William and Sarah's 9 children. Also William's father and mother Richard Packham and Judith Eldridge. Are any of your Packhams from Mayfield related to these? Many of the Packhams were millwrights and farmers which is what I believe my branch were. There was a millwright, George Packham from Fletching, East Sussex, born in 1790. I am trying to find out who he married and if he had any children and when and where he died. Do you know if any of your Packhams are from Fletching?
