I have William Hinman/Hiram Packwood b. 15 Mar 1808 d. 11 Mar 1836, married Rachel Rheames (b. 2 Apr 1814). Their son is listed as George Hiram Packwood (b 10 Jun 1833).

George H. Packwood (b. 1833) was a Capt in the Confederate Army and a POW at Johnson's Island, Ohio. He married Martha Ann Wheat (b. 1831) on 3 May 1854.

William H. Packwood (b. 1808) tentatively identified as the son of George Packwood (b. 24 Mar 1773/4, d. 17 or 28 Jan 1854) and Sarah (last name unknown) (b. 14 Oct 1781, d. 14 Jul 1840).

George Packwood (b. 1773/4 in New London, CT) parents may be William Packwood (b. 1736 in Bermuda) and Abigail Powers. William & Abigail were married 4 Sept 1761 in New London, CT
