Seeking information on Joseph Paczkowski who was a young Oficer Gunner)in the US Airforce assigned to bunk at the Santa Monica Edgewater Hotel during the early 1940's.

He was a very nice young man whom I have thought kindly of many times over many years. His family would be very proud to know how well he acted and how well he was thought of.

I have prayed many times he would survive the battles he must have been forced to participate in.

His family home was Hamtramic, Detroit, Michigan and before the war he worked at a Black Hawk Ham Processing plant.

His service buddies used to tease him by saying his name was "pass the kow ski," and they used to refer to me as "the little onion."

If anyone has any information about Joe to share with me, I can be reached directly at mswanda@yahoo.com Thank you.
