Hi Lucinda,

I was born and raised in Bellingham, WA. My grandfather was John V.Padden. Lake Padden was named for his father Michael because he discovered it. Michael was shot and killed in March 1880 by a 10 year old boy over a boundary dispute. Michael had several brothers Tom and Dominic, who was killed in a mining accident in Bellingham. I believe there may be one more brother. I have no information on them and would be very interested in learning if you have any. I have information on Mary Shearan and Annie
Connelley and would be more than happy to share that with you.
