Paden descendants of John Peden and Margaret McDill

At the recent 105th Annual Reunion of the descendants of John Peden and Margaret McDill at Fairview Presbyterian Church in Fountain Inn, SC a new revision of "The Pedens of America" was approved. The book was originally published in 1900, following the first Reunion, and revised in 1960. The 1960 edition has been reprinted several times.
We are seeking assistance from descendants who can help in extending lines that stopped with the 1960 edition, stopped with the 1900 edition, or were missing in the 1900 edition.
A number of descendants adopted the PADEN spelling of the name. In the mid 19th century these descendants using the PADEN spelling of the name were to be found in Georgia (DeKalb and Gwinnett Cos.); Mississippi (Tishomingo Co.); Kentucky (Todd Co.); Illinois (Montgomery Co.); as well as other locations.
Mr. James H. Rodgers is the current president of the Peden Reunion and Family Association and asked me to help coordinate this effort. I hope that we will have participation from as many Paden descendants as possible.
