Hi Luci,

James H. Peden Sr., was born about 1764 in Scotland; died November 21, 1844.
He married Jane Isobel Calhoun, born about 1764 in Pennsylvania; died May 02, 1819.
Both are buried in Sandy Cemetery, Polk, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
James came to this country from Ireland with two brothers, George and William.
William died at sea and George went to Barbados.

This is not verified, I got most of it from from the web, some from my wife's mother.

The Padens/Pedens in my tree resided in Mercer County, PA and Venango County, PA.
I have nothing about their religion. I have no Buchanans in my files.

If you think this is your James, email me at adclw@verizon.net and I will send you
the information that I have on this James descendents.

Good luck in your research,

Allan
