Hello, Rosina.
Thanks a lot for the contact. It looks as though I am some sort of cousin of your husband.I've looked at your message of 25.9.2001 and I am pretty certain that my g.grandfather Isaac was the son of Richard & Mary to whom you refer. He certainly married a (Mary)Jane Moore and had sons Enoch and Edward (rather than Edwin). My father's mother was Mary Jane Padfield, one of their daughters. I've run through the whole site at genforum but do not see your e-mail address. You can reach me on . As I explained to Julie I do not have much information about earlier generations but I do have a lot of connected snippets about later ones. I also have some particulars about the families who went to USA. This family seem very keen to preserve the use of certain Christian names. I have met two May Padfields in the past and there was certainly still an Isaac Padfield in Pennsylvania up to a couple of years ago. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards.
