I went to your Pagel site and sent you an e-mail, but it was sent back undeliverable. Anyway, you ask about Christian Pagel, Sr.~this past weekend I went to St. John's Lutheran Church in Atwater Minnesota. The records say that the family came from Retzin, Pommern, Prussia. Christian and his wife Louise, and three children, came over on the Barque Kammonham Roy, whereof William Cutts is Master leaving from Hamburg. They arrived in New York on August 18, 1843. If I remember correctly-your relation was to Otto Pagel-->my great-great-grandmother is Martha Pagel, his sister; who were both children of Christian Pagel Jr.
