You have helped me before, so I thought you may be able to help me again. You told Donald that he had to know where Christian Pagel Sr. was from in Prussia Germany. Christian Pagel Sr., according to St. John Lutheran Church in Atwater, Minnesota, is from Retzin, Pommern, Prussia. They came over in 1843 and, of course, first settled in New York. Christian Pagel Sr. is to believed to have been born in 1804. His wife was Louise Schultz (1814)-(3-25-1899), and their oldest three children came with them on the Barque Kammonham Roy. The passenger list says that "Christian Pagel Sr., age 39, weaver, with wife Louise, age 29 and children Louise 7, Fredericke 4, and Wilhelmine 1." Finding Christian Pagel Sr. parents or even siblings, or even his wife's, has been the dead end for my search also. Thanks again for your prevous help.
