Hi Darrel, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, your message was sidetracked for a couple weeks on my wifes laptop, if your married I am sure you can appreciate that! I would love to hear more about your findings as well as Mr. Dietz. I actually think that Mr Dietz's brother contacted me a while back. You can see my work at: http://the5tolls.tribalpages.com/, the Pagel section is only a part of the total history, but because my mother's maiden name was Pagel, it is very close to me.
Any thoughts, corrections, pictures, stories or comments, would be greatly appreciated. I really reached a dead end with Christian Pagel, no idea of who his parents were at all. I have heard stories of how the Red army came through and burned and destroyed so much late in the war, that very little information survived. I sure do enjoy looking for it though! So thanks again and I hope to hear from you! Bill
