I am not certain if this helps you:
I was born a Pahlow. My father's family lived in Pomerania/Pommern in a town called Angermünde. My grandfather was born around 1875, named Otto Julius Hermann Pahlow. His father was Wilhelm Pahlow. One of my grandfather's brothers emigrated to the US, "to the Chicago area" and owned/worked in a wicker shop/factory. He married in the US and had children; I do not have his first name, though I do have him on a family picture, when he returned for a visit.
Good Luck, Lydia
