I am looking for information on Isaac W. Pakkala who probably emigrated to the U.S. in the late 1800's. He married Louise Niemela, probably in Astoria, Oregon, or Clatskanie, Oregon. They had one son named Isaac for his father. Unfortunately the father Isaac died very young, and Louise was widowed. The young widow met Arvid Pakkala who had come from Finland, and eventually to Astoria, and they were married in December 1901. I have long been curious as to whether Arvid and Isaac might have been related -- perhaps cousins? Does anyone know? Sincerely, Sharon Poage Pakkala
