Hi Linda,

I just got off the phone with Daniel Palcic and he wanted me to thank you for your posting also. We have gotten so much mileage out of this board as a means for connecting diverse Palcic families and spellings, some related, most not, but nonetheless interesting.

Just today, I was going over information in my database and "tweaked" two lines of Palcic descendants unrelated to each other, and got in touch with a descendant from one line in Washington state (Paulcich) a "new" spelling for us here. I think this one is originally a Palcic because the immigrant was born in Metulje, Slovenia in the Loz Valley where a lot of Slovenian Palcic immigrants came from.

As for the other unconnected branch, I had three immigrant siblings in Colorado in my database, one of whose lines I will trace down tomorrow as close to present-day as possible.

So, as you might guess, Daniel, Jakov, I and others are still stirring the genealogical pool seeing what info will surface. Daniel and I are looking forward to your findings when you are ready to share. Daniel has had contact with another Daniel Palcic in Canada who recently passed away, and that was also connected to a family in Wisconsin.

I've worked over the past two years on the Irish Palcic family from Croatia with the help of Donal Palcic and other descendants of Alfonso, and was also pleased to get back in touch with Jakov Palcic again after a long hiatus.

Keep posting, and we'll keep sharing. Cyndy and I will keep Daniel Palcic in the loop.

Cordially,

Chris
