How lovely to hear from you, yes I remember Uncle George, I believe he was my GodFather :) I have faint memories of him, as I was quite young. I remember Uncle George gave me a beautiful china swan when we were leaving for Australia. Hand picked from their cabinet.
Its lovely how there were two Pitchford/Palcic marriages, yes we all are a unique and special lot aren't we.
And as for the eye disease, how unfortunate my that cousin Ray has it also. My oldest brother Stephen has the condition, and also my other brother Tim has it. My sister Jeanette and I were untouched Thank God.
Tims eyes copped it slightly worse than Steve, but both are clinically defined as blind. Probably the same as Ray where there eyes really deterioriated through the teenage years.
It was quite hard for them in our younger years, as we all grew up, with me having all the fast cars and motorbikes that they couldnt have. But they still used to roar around with me :)
We are all really close and see each other a bit.
I'm going back to the UK with my Dad Anthony for two weeks in August, I'll be hiring a merc and driving Dad around memory lane one last time, seeing where I was born etc. I think Auntie Zita will be seeing us in Southampton when we pass through..
There's so many cousins etc that we don't know from living in OZ.
Anyway it's beautiful to hear from you, Thank you.
And I'm amazed more than overwhelmed :)
