Palcic - is the name the same?

Hi. I have hit a very big brick wall and I read with interest your message about the pronunciation of Palcic. I am trying to locate info on my husband's biological grandfather. The only info I have at the moment is that his last name was pronounced Powchek or Pauchot and that he immigrated about 1907 to Pennsylvania. He may have lived in Farrell PA or Steelton PA in 1908-09. I wonder if his name could have been Palcic. He left PA in 1909 and seems to have disappeared. He supposedly went back to his native land - probably Croatia or Slovenia et al. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
