Pearl was my aunt, the sister of my father Walter Albert Palen, and the daughter of Robert Palen and Marie Elizabeth (Poirier) Palen (Ottawa, Canada)
following the end of her relationship, she ended up in the Brockville Sanitarium
where she ended her days
