I live in Finland and my name is Liisa Palén, i have tried to find out were our name comes from, since it is nothing like normal finnish name and accent over e, is not used in finnish language. I have read about these origins of the name Palen from Netherlands and so on. So I would be interested if you have any information about the thing is there any migration to Scandinavia from Luxemburg/Netherlands/Poland ?
