Dear Trevor,
Thank you for your offer of assistance to the Palfrey name. Almost all my Palfrey searching is confined to Radnorshire and border to Brecon. I noticed in the I.G.I. three mentions to the Palfrey name around Gloucester, and others have mentioned Somerset. Early history states that the name originated in around Norfolk when seamen were given land in the West to compensate for their years of service. Unproved, of course.
Thanks again but at the moment l have no interest in your area of mention.
