Have been puzzling over this PAYLING, PAILING, PALIN genealogy! Just noticed your reference to PALINS from Frisby on the Wreake. Do you mean the F on the W which is approx 5 miles west of Melton Mowbray? The reason I am so interested is that Houghton on the Hill, where my Payling/Palin/Palings came from, is only approx 12 miles from Frisby. Do you have any records of 18 cent. Paylings in Frisby? I am looking, specifically, for John Payling, born about 1769.
