At last! Someone doing Palks! My surname is a variant of Palke dating from 1718. I have collected a mass of PR and other material re Palkes in Devon and am tracing some Polchers (another presumed variant) in Northants temp Eliz 1. Have just joined the internet and am very aware of my ignorance of things. Where are the best places to search? How did you set up this site? I wish I was more of an adept at this stuff!
Best wishes,
Andrew Polkey
