Hello fellow Palks.
There has not been much posted on this Forum in the past year of 2003.
We still have not been able to find who was the first Palk in the Americas or when he left England in the 1600's.
I have been looking into the Smerdon, Swete (Sweet), Paukes,Poucke lines in England.
I was told long ago, while I was in London, that the Palks
were brought to what is now England from what is now Germany in the 1200's "to teach the English to weave".
Good hunting,

Houston Monroe Palk
