My father, Kenneth Milton, has/had an aunt Ruth who lives(d) north of Markham, ON. She is in her 70's I think. Other names: John, Allan, Irene... . A deed in the land registry office had misspelled the name on the family farm as "Paul Matier" in the late 1800's. It was later corrected to Polmateer, which some in the family go by.
