I have info to share and would like more info on the Palmieri Family (associated names are Pagliaro, Izzo, Carusone, Arpaia, Mercola, Cenname and others) Coming from Formicola, more specifically Cavallari and Fondola in the provence of Caserta. Other towns around it are Croce, Ponteletone, Camigliano. The towns in Ohio are Girard and Youngstown and Cleveland area.. In CT are Westport, New Haven, Derby, Ansonia, In NY are Mechanicsville..and surrounding areas. Three brothers came to America in 1892 together, two were birds of fortune (went back and forth) and one settled in Ohio (Stefano) early. One died in Italy but his kids are here..he was Joe or Francesco..and Carlo, my grandfather lived in Italy most of his life but came here in his 50s and died here.
