Palmieri of San Eufemia, Italy, 1880?
Trying to find relatives of Camillo and Lucia Palmieri of SanEufemia, Italy; sons Diamante, Nicolo, Pietro, came thru EllisIsland in 1905, 1920, and 1924. Id like to know of any living relatives still in SanEufemia and/or located in the U.S.Some names listed on same boat are: Filomena, Vincenzo, Demetria, Maria, Firoe, Giovanni and Eufemia Palmieri. They were coming into Aliquippa, PA to see Nicola Pioccirilli, if anyone knows of him..I do not know Lucia's maiden name, but do know she had family in San Eufemia, and she did not return to the U.S. after 1920.The Palmieri name was "Americanized" to Palmer inadvertently, and aside from two cousins in Pittsburgh, PA and my own brothers and sisters, I know of no other relatives by that name.If there are, I would dearly love to hear from them.My father's (Diamante)first wife was a Mabel DiNardo and I would like to locate her children if any to see if any are related to me.There must be a lot of cousins somewhere that may have some more knowledge of the relatives in Italy. Email me Please.
