Hi Mary:
Here is an intriguing bit of information about my ancestors who settled in New Haven, CT, and later moved to Hamden, where most of my family is now.
My great-grandfather was Luigi, who was born in Formicola on 8/21/1870, and died on 5/3/35 in Hamden, CT. He was married in New Haven in 1903 to Leontina Dauci. His father was Francesco, and mother was Caterina Tevolo.
Do any of the names (Francesco??) fit with your research? I'd love to hear from you -- email me if you would like.
