Angelina, there is a Pietro Palmieri in my fathers family who went from Italy to Australia. He had a son, Pietro, also, and a sister Rosina. Pietro, Sr.'s father was Angelo Palmieri, married to an Irene Alberico. There were 2 boys and 2 girls in Pietro (Sr.) family.

My father's family, on his mother's side, had family that moved to Australia and one to Argentina. My grandfather was Angelo Camillo Palmieri, and my grandmother's MAIDEN name was Lucia Palmieri....no relation.....so it gets a little confusing, lol...two family lines to follow..

Please email me at nyteardrop@yahoo.com. I have learned that there are several Palmieri families in the area of PA that my father and his cousins settled in, and there HAS to be someone there distantly related, but no luck, as yet...
We all have the same last name though, right?

I am anxiously looking forward to hearing from you, or anyone else who may have information as well. Rosemarie
