re: angelina giobbi posting

There wer three or four separate Palmieri families that I know of from the town of Gagliano Aterno which is from Abruzzi.

Some of the old timers names I know of are my grandfather Carmine Palmieri, who migrated to Canada and then the US around 1897-98. There are also: Giuseppe Palmieri (died 1954; Domenico Palmier (died 1937); Settimio Palmieri (died 1943); Antonio Palmieri (died 1927); Giovanni Palmieri( di Antonio-the son of Antonio) (died 1927); Luigi Palmieri (died 1927); Rocco Palmieri (died 1927. I also know of an Italo Palmieri who is a distant cousin who is 85 years old. There is a Gelsino Palmieri who died about 1990 who is also a distant cousin. Other related families to the Palmieri clan are the Salciccioli, the Pacifici. Some nicknames if that would be helpful are: Chunganill, and Spahlotte.

I hope this is helpful Ciao, "cousin Carmine"
