chris,
I have a grandfather Francesco Faccinto who was sponsored by an uncle Rocco Palmieri when he came from Italy in 1903 at 21 years of age from Forenza and he has a brother Vito Di Rocco who came from Italy in 1901. Are you familar with any of these names?? Francesco married Filomena Colangelo in Stamford or Hartford Ct. My father was Anthony and there was a brother william peter who was a priest and he was born in Hartford, Ct. while my aunt Rosa Faccinto and my father Anthony Joseph Facciuto were born in Stamford, Ct. Filomena died in Stamford, Ct. in 1915 and Francesco put the children in a orphanage Highland Heights in New Haven, ct. and tried to go back to Italy, but we don't know what happened to him. I am his Granddaughter Betty Facciuto McLaughlin --email efacciuto59@yahoo.com--
