I have now come into possession of information stating that Elizabeth, wife of Marshall Palmore, was born in SC, not AL. I feel that this is true, since her children were also born in SC. Marshall's second wife, whom he married in 1862, was Mary Ann Gaston. They married in Butler Co., AL.

I still believe Elizabeth might have been Indian.
