Hello, Heritage Quest has the 1820 Census and I checked all the Palmore/Palmer names listed for males in the first column 0-10 years old. In TN there was only Woodson Palmore with 2 males in the first column. I don't have access to the 1830 or 1840 TN Census do you? In KY there was Bowling Palmer with 2 males 0-10 yrs old; John R. H. with 2 males 0-10 yrs old; Permemias with one male 0-10 yrs old(Warren Co., KY); in NC Joel with 2 males 0-10 yrs old(Pitt Co); and SC Pendleton Co JOhn with 1 male 0-10 yrs old; Martin with one male 0-10 yr old(same county); William with one male 0-10(same county); Messer with 2 males 0-10 yrs old(same county); Simeon with two males 0-10 yrs old(same county); and in York Co., SC Joshua with 2 males 0-10 yrs old. There were others but they didn't have males age 0-10 living with them in 1820.
The Palmore Chart listed Woodson Palmore married Delila Robertson and died 1821 in Smith County TN. It has no listing of children. There is a listing in the Palmore chart I found in www.palmerpage.com/heritage/palmer and it has Branch Palmore b. aft 1784 d. abt 1860 Williamson Co TN and Lucy his wife having a son Benjamin Branch Palmore b about 1805 and another son William b./ abt 1815. I didn't see a listing for Branch Palmore in the 1820 Census? I'll look again.
