Dan, thanks for your note. I think I got the Augustus Palmore info from the internet and that source always bears closer examination. However, if Augustus married Rebecca Evans in 1841 and the son Calvin L. that I have record of was born in 1847, do you have a death date for Rebecca?
Also Augustus Palmore of Cumberland Va. township Hamilton was a sargent in the civil war with Captain Dance's Co., Va. Artillery. Do you have this info? Nice to hear from you. Marjorie Pemberton
